Within the framework of the relocation project for the new City of Morococha, a slope stabilization system was implemented combining galvanized steel meshes with passive anchors and green geomats. This intervention provided reliable surface containment against unstable blocks and rock detachments, reinforcing safety in adjacent urban areas.
The strategic installation of anchor bolts optimized system efficiency and reduced execution times. Additionally, the use of green geomats contributed to erosion control and facilitated landscape integration, meeting high environmental standards in applied engineering. The solution proved economically competitive compared to conventional alternatives and suitable for infrastructure projects in growing urban areas.
