Large-span metal structures are advanced solutions designed to optimize stability and support heavy loads. Their superior structural properties ensure maximum safety and efficiency in engineering projects. The distinctive corrugation of these structures allows them to effectively replace bridges, both urban and river crossings, making them a versatile, high-performance alternative for durable infrastructure.

Chilloroya River Crossing – Constancia Mine, Cusco, Peru
Bypass – La Arena, Trujillo, Peru
As part of the production process at the La Arena mine, it was necessary to transport extracted material from the pit to the processing plant, crossing the Trujillo–Huamachuco highway at kilometer 163. To ensure operational continuity and road safety, an underpass was designed to segregate heavy mining traffic from public vehicular flow.
The adopted solution consisted of installing a structural arch with a span of 13.885 meters and a rise of 9.482 meters. In this context, Grupo TDM participated by supplying the structure and providing comprehensive on-site technical support, accompanying the assembly process and proper placement of the structural backfill.
This intervention enabled efficient integration between mining operations and existing road infrastructure, ensuring durability and functionality under demanding conditions.
Chilloroya River Crossing – Constancia Mine, Cusco, Peru
To enable a safe and efficient vehicular crossing over the Chilloroya River at the Constancia mining operation in Cusco, a structural solution capable of supporting heavy mining vehicles was developed. The design addressed the operational requirements of the project, ensuring year-round functionality while minimizing impacts on the hydraulic environment.
The installed structure had a diameter of 9.00 meters with beveled ends, optimized to withstand high loads and ensure proper hydraulic performance. In this context, Grupo TDM was responsible for the supply and full installation of the system, guaranteeing efficient assembly and a highly durable solution aligned with the requirements of critical mining infrastructure.
