This product is designed to absorb and distribute stresses generated by cracks in existing pavements, effectively reducing their propagation into the new wearing course. Its flexible structure allows it to adapt to different surfaces and address complex repaving conditions, making it an ideal solution for streets, avenues, highways, and roads, as well as for new roadway construction. In addition, it improves pavement structural performance, extends service life, and contributes to greater efficiency in road rehabilitation processes.
Advantages / Benefits
Increased durability in each intervention: Improves structural integrity and extends pavement service life.
Long-term cost reduction: Reduces maintenance costs through the incorporation of a low-cost geosynthetic.
Fast installation: Simple, high-performance placement.
Improved adhesion for enhanced effectiveness: The additional geotextile layer increases bonding with tack coat and pavement surfaces
Applications

Route 40 Project – APP Llanos, Colombia
The project involved pavement rehabilitation and structural reinforcement, including partial milling and replacement with hot dense mix (HDM). Given the accumulated thickness of previous asphalt layers, a significant remaining structural capacity was identified and leveraged.
To maximize this existing capacity and prevent crack propagation into the new wearing course, the TDM paving geocomposite was incorporated. Its flexible design allowed effective adaptation to the milled surface texture, preventing crack reflection into the new asphalt layer.
