Cold mix patching

Cold asphalt patching is an effective technique for localized pavement repair through the application of asphalt mixtures made with emulsions. These solutions are composed of mineral aggregates (coarse and fine), asphalt emulsion, cement, water, and, when required, specific additives. Their cold formulation allows for quick and safe interventions without the need for thermal equipment, making it an efficient alternative for road maintenance work in urban areas or hard-to-access locations.

Advantages

Ambient temperature production
These asphalt mixtures are made with emulsions, without the need for high temperatures.

Versatility in multiple pavement layers
They can be applied on the wearing course, intermediate layers, or shoulders, adapting to different structural requirements.

High ease of field application
Their formulation allows for simple placement, enabling quick and efficient interventions.

Low environmental impact solution
Minimizes emissions and energy consumption, contributing to more sustainable paving practices.

Safety and health for the application team
As they do not emit vapors or require high temperatures, they protect the integrity of workers during handling.
