Along the Panamericana Sur Highway, from Pucusana Bridge toward Lurín, Lima, a Type III micro-surfacing application was executed as a technical solution for road maintenance. This intervention was designed to meet the high traffic demands of the corridor. A cationic, controlled-setting asphalt emulsion was applied at a thickness of 10 mm, improving pavement durability and ensuring a uniform, resistant surface with rapid traffic reopening.

Full-depth recycling was carried out on the Marcona Bypass–Puerto Lomas roadway using slow-setting asphalt emulsion as a stabilizing agent. The use of slow-setting emulsion enhanced the cohesion of the recycled material, increasing its mechanical strength and moisture resistance, resulting in a more sustainable and long-lasting solution.

Prime coat application was executed on a section of the high-Andean corridor in the Cusco region using Primetec® prime coat asphalt emulsion. This intervention properly conditioned the base surface, improving adhesion with the upper pavement layers. This solution was selected for its ability to produce a uniform mixture at ambient temperature, enabling efficient application even in hard-to-access areas and under variable climatic conditions typical of the high-Andean region.
